Roosters

This was the first rooster purchased as a house warming to ourselves when we moved to
Chesapeake, Virginia in 1999. Our furniture had not arrived yet, but we had a chicken!

This little chick is newly bought from JOYWORKS in Snohomish, Washington.
Look at the latest addition to my chicken collection! Napkin rings for the kitchen table.

Spring Mini Iris

Normally we use the side door to go in and out, but today I went out the front door to check the mail and there they were. I came back up the steep driveway to the front steps, pulled away the fall leaves to better reveal a cluster of irises.

Notice the one yellow crocus. This reminds me of how in some cultures, they design things with one flaw to remind all of mankind, that we are not perfect.
