Tag Sale Finds

First of all I found this wax rooster intending to buy, but the owner graciously GAVE it to me!
Thank you so much Susan. This is going to hang in my kitchen.
I decorate for Fourth of July on my front porch. These will be saved for then.

These terrific bits of crochet lace and metal buckles will find their way onto some of my handcrafts. I'm thinking pincusions here!

  1. I love the buckles. They would look so nice on pincushions. I can just imagine the pretty ribbon threaded thru them!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. Lovely to meet new folks.

  3. Hi there...I wasn't sure which dishes you wanted a close up of. The Brambly Hedge ones..which have luncheon plates, cups and saucer, a teapot and creamer and sugar. They consist of the four seasons, Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Or..did you want a close up of the three stacking green cake plates and compote? The compote is probably known as a berry bowl...as well. You can stack them any way you like. Today..I was playing with them and had them all four stacked..the three cake plates and the berry bowl.
Actually, it was very elegant and since they are SO heavy they do not slide easily.
The green cake and berry serving set was just borrowed by my daughter for a cup cake party on Sunday..and shortly after I posted she called and asked if she could drop by and pick them up. So...they are now at her home..however...I will be going there on Sunday for my Granddaughters wedding shower..so will photograph all four of them..before and after they are full. I believe my daughter is going to stack all four..using the top for roses and trailing ivy. She also..LOL grabbed my depressoion glass cake plate that happens to match..but it is flat and has handles..
Did you want a photo of all four...AND the dishes> I wasn't sure. :) Perhaps I will just use it as a post this coming week. Whatever the case I will make certain you get photo's of whatever you wish to see. Ok? :) Thanks you so much for stopping by my blog and commenting. (sorry..this is soooo long..Hugs
